From Senegal, Khadjou Sambe aspires to be in the 2020 Olympics for surfing. She spends her time training in California working with coaches. Growing up she would sneak out of her window to go and surf as her parents disapproved of it. After dropping out of school, she moved in with her grandmother, who encourages her to follow her dreams.
